“An ethics of tutors behavior and corporate culture: Methods of mapping”.
In 2008 in the course of re-structuring of university on the basis of the center of sociological researches (created in 2002) the center of social monitoring and forecasting which is today structural division of department on educational work has been generated.
The operational administration center activity is carried out by the director of the center – k.social.s. Mukasheva A.B., the pro-rector on teaching and educational work – Professor Sydykov U.E. Co-ordinates its work.
The great attention gives the center to studying of the questions characterizing degree of satisfaction of students by the selected speciality, quality of received knowledge; is engaged in studying of questions of social state of health, valuable orientations and leisure of the trained. A number of research projects has been executed under individual demands of the faculty, comparative researches between city technical colleges were conducted and so on. The generalized data by results of the spent researches is resulted in the monography «students of technical university: the sociological analysis» (2007).
The division purposes:
1. Maintenance of gathering of the primary sociological information, the analysis of the data
•    on horizontal communications for effective interaction in system "university-teacher-student";
•    on vertical communications for increase of intensity of a feedback between the top management and structural divisions of university.
2. Sociological support in the course of preparation and decision-making on problems of improvement and optimization of teaching and educational activity of university, social planning and forecasting:
•    a substantiation of the purposes and criteria of an estimation of efficiency of teaching and educational process;
•    a substantiation of an urgency of entered changes by means of studying of tendencies of development and social consequences of undertaken practical measures.
3. Studying of objective laws of social mutual relations and social state of health of students and teachers, diagnostics of a social microclimate of university as a whole.
4. Consultation of administration, chiefs of departments on problems socially-supply with information training and education, creation of conditions for high-grade development of social intelligence of the person of students and teachers.
5. Monitoring and forecasting of public opinion on pressing questions of technical preparation in the conditions of university on the basis of modern experience of carrying out of sociological researches.
Division functions:
1.    Diagnostic function is expressed in studying of an orientation of influence of teaching and educational process on formation of qualitative characteristics of the person of the student of technical university:
•    an estimation of satisfaction a choice of university, a speciality;
•    an estimation of quality of received knowledge, vocational training, a level of development of technical thinking;
•    monitoring of social expectations of students concerning training conditions;
•    an estimation of elements of an teaching-methodical and information-advisory complex;
•    a substantiation of an urgency of entered changes (innovative educational technologies) by means of studying of tendencies of development and social consequences of undertaken practical measures.
2.    Forecasting – it is directed on studying of a way of life, valuable installations and behavioural features of students of technical university.
3.    Socially-pedagogical – promotes revealing of interests and requirements of students for different kinds of activity (cultural, sports, art creativity), studies aspects of social state of health and so on.
4.    Psychological – consists in the advisory help concerning interpersonal relations, promotes social adaptation and socialization to training conditions at university.
5.    Communicative – are promoted the establishment of contact, the information interchange organization, working out of uniform strategy of interaction, perception and understanding in system by "teacher-student", "student-student".
