Academic Board of university is an elected collective body. The Academic Board’s term of office is 2 years. Academic Board consists of: Rector, Vice-rectors, Directors of Departments and Institutes, and also Heads of public organizations. The basic structure of Academic Board selects by secret or open vote at meetings of collectives of structural divisions. The Head of Academic council is a Rector of university. The personal structure of Academic Board confirms by the order of Rector.  
  The Academic Board’s terms of reference cover includes approval the regulations, consideration and consolidation of regulations, decision making of all questions concerning the organizations of teaching and educational process, consideration of an annual and long-term plans of development of KazNTU named after K.I.Satpayev, consideration of questions related by the realization of the Program of development of university, confirmation of plans of the scientific research, consideration of the basic questions of economic and social development of university, the definition of prospects of financial and economic activity, direction observation of using the funds of production and social development of university, sum up of an activity during the past academic year, periodical consideration of reports about the research and educational work of institutes, a reports about activity of other structural subdivisions is in the part of university and other questions connecting with the activity of university. All decisions of the Academic Board enter into the force after the statement by Rector’s Order.
  Academic Board’s session is holds once in two months in according to the approved plan of the work. The offers according to plan of  work are represents by structural subdivision to the technical secretary after preliminary discussion in subdivisions and at the corresponding vice-rector. The Head of the Academic board is appoints the responsible persons for preparation the question considered on the Academic Board. The commission prepares the inquiry on a discussed question, the decision project. Responsibility for timely and qualitative preparation of materials to the Academic council is assigns to the main scientific secretary.

  He was born on 8th January, 1943 in village Kapal, Taldykorgan region in the family of officer of Red Army who fell in battle. Studied in the Kazakh Secondary boarding school of Kostanay. From 1960 to 1961 worked as the turner of # 438 in Leningrad. In 1966 graduated the physic-mechanical department of Leningrad Polytechnic Institute by the speciality of system of automatic control. During three years, 1966 – 1971, worked at an enterprises and organizations of the electro technical and mining industry. Since 1971 was an engineer,  a senior teacher (1972),  a associated professor (1980),  professor (1994), a Head of sub department (1995), a Vice-rector for teaching work of KazNTU (2000-2001). From 1981 till 1991, a member of Scientifically-Methodical Board on automated control systems MVandSSO, USSR. Since 1995 was Vice-president of advisory council on the mathematician and computer science of MAof K of RК. In 1996 was selected as a member of branch of physical and mathematical sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of RK. In 1998 is appointed as a Head of dissertational council D14.13.03 MA of K of RK. Shukaev D.N. is an author of 142 works, including textbooks and learning aids, under his managements has protected the candidate and doctoral theses. He is Head of the group of authors which has developed State standards of the higher vocational training on specialities 3702 (the automated systems of information handling and management), 1501 (information computer systems), 370140 (computer systems of information handling and management), 091340 and 050703 (information systems) and on master direction 551550 N0703 (information systems). In 1984 for an efficient scientific and pedagogical activity  awarded the Charter of Supreme Soviet of the KazSSR, and in 2003 - a medal "Sanlak avtor" and "Honorary Worker of Education of the RК" badge, and in 2005 has put in the list of leading scientists and tutors of the Ministry of Education and Science of RK, and in 2006-2007 has became an owner of State grant “The best tutor of High School”.

  The secretary of Academic council is Nagasbekova Bayan Serikkanovna.
  Nagasbekova Bayan Serikkanovna was born in 1971 and with honor  ended the Zhuzagach secondary school of Semipalatinsk region, Philological Department of KazSU named after Al’-Faraby. Since 1997 worked as a senior tutor, and then an associated professor of the department of language discipline of KazAT and SR.
  In 2003 is become as senior tutor of department “Kazakh tili” of KazNTU named after K.I.Satpayev. Since October, 2004 is transferred to the position of scientific secretary of KazNTU, and since October, 2008 has been working as a Head of department of social work with trainings of the Department of social work and scientific secretary.
  Nagasbekova B.S has researches in the field of linguistics. She has made a speech with the reports in the ranks of international, republican theoretical and practical conferences. Bayan Serikkanovna has prepared to the defence of candidate thesis on the subject: “Multivalence of phraseology in kazakh language”. On the contractual themes she has taken part in the works on creation the electronic text books and the multimedia complex in studying the kazakh language.
  In 1989 was elected as a Delegate of XVII congress of LCUY (Lenin Communist Union of Youth) of Kazakhstan, a member of the regional committee of komsomol of Semipalatinsk region,a Deputy of Taskesken district council of the National deputy. She has awarded by theletter of commendation of CK of LCUY, a CK of ALCUY of Kazakhstan, and Head of Zhetysu district of Almaty city, also the KazNTU named after K.I.Satpayev.
