KNTU applied to Accreditation Agency ASIIN (Germany) for accreditation of engineering programs. Accreditation evaluation consists of several stages and site visit is the main stage where experts, made of professors of well known German universities, on February 03-04, 2010 met University students, teaching staff and were introduced to laboratories of accrediting degree programs. Experts were also introduced to the system of education of Kazakhstan, system of training of learners to engineering education. As accreditation procedures are multistage process, experts shared with general impressions and will report to Accreditation Board of ASIIN, where the final decision on accreditation will be taken.
