Rector
    Doctor of Economic Sciences professor, honorary academician of the National Academy of Sciences RK, Academician of International Engineering Academy. Honorary citizen of the city of Tusson (state Arizona, USA).
He was born in 1949. In 1972 graduated with honors from Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I.Lenin, major: civil engineer.
     After graduation of his post graduate study in Moscow Civil Engineering Institute he joined Kazakh State Academy of Architecture and Construction and held positions from assistant to professor. In the Academy has worked as the Dean of Construction Department (1986-1990), Head of Subdepartment, also he was the initiator and organizer of new direction in training of technicians – integration of business education with technological background, and headed new department called “Management and business in construction” (1990-2000).
    In 2000-2001 worked as National Consultant on project of World Bank with the Agency for Public Services of the Republic of Kazakhstan and managed course at the Academy for Public Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
     Starting from the February, 2001 – Director of the Department of State inspection and Informatization of Education of Ministry of Education and Science RK. From February, 2004 up until April, 2008 – Rector of the Semipalatinsk State University named after Shakarim.
     In 2008 by the Decree of President of Republic of Kazakhstan was appointed rector of Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I.Satpaeyev.
     Author of more than 70 scientific methodological research papers, including 7 monographs and 5 textbooks on problems of economics and organization of construction, management of sustainable development issues. Four candidates of Economics Science are trained under his research supervision. Received advanced trainings in Japan, USA, Great Britain, Germany, France and China (Hong Kong).
Holder of “Kurmet” Order, three commemorative Jubilee Medals, awarded with “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic” badge, and “10 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan” medal.
