Republican center for retraining and qualification improvement of engineering cadres and tutors of technical disciplines under KazNTU after K.I.Satpayev is organized by the Decree No.43 of the Cabinet Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan from January 7, 1994 and by the Decree No 89 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan from April 24, 1995.
In 2008 in accordance with the reorganization of University structure were reformed the structure and functions of RCQI (in further Center).
    Republican center for retraining and qualification improvement of engineering cadres and tutors of technical disciplines under KazNTU after K.I.Satpayev is carried out retraining and qualification improvement of enterprisers’, organizations’ and High Schools’ workers.
    Qualification improvement of engineering and technical workers is carried out in different length courses by all specialities.
    Course program, terms of holding and cost of training is determined by client’s agreement. Qualification improvement can be organized according to client’s choice like a study course in departments and subdivisions of university.
    On the basis of enterprisers’ and organizations’ applications and agreement on qualification improvement by concluded sides is carried out an admission to the number of listeners. The center is get involved the highly skilled pedagogical personnel for retraining and qualification improvement. The studies are conducted in specialized auditoriums, equipped by up-to-date training aids. The main library of university is at the service of course listeners.
